Welcome to Chanctonbury & Chatham Cavaliers (Janet Beck & Ana Ruggeri), responsible breeders dedicated to our lovely little breed, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.  Our ultimate goal is to produce gay, friendly, non-aggressive dogs who love their families and are a joy to be with.  We also breed for health and have all our breeding stock checked regularly for MVD, eye health and general health.  We keep track of all our dogs for life and respect the concern of all our dogs' families.  Janet obtained her first two Cavaliers in England when she lived there in 1975.  Janet moved back to the East Coast and began showing and breeding.  Bucky and Nellie's first puppy, Chanctonbury Pilgrim went on to win BOB in the CKCSC USA's National Specialty in 1979.  Janet eventually relocated to Wauwatosa, WI and met Ana who obtained Ivy from a beautiful litter of 6.  Our puppies are raised in our homes, with our families, Ana's 10 children and Janet's great grandson and are well socialized with other dogs.
